About Us - Technical Industrial Sales

Technical Industrial Sales is an established company that grew up the 1970's as a manufacturer and supplier of products used by lumber, plywood and oriented strand board (OSB) mills. As our capabilities increased we added products designed for manufactured housing, asphalt roofing, tire retreading, highway paving and metal fabrication and maintenance.

All TIS products are manufactured in Oregon City, Oregon, just a few miles from the location where settler's wagon trains completed their Oregon Trail journey during the mid 1800's. We proudly ship products throughout the United States as well as to international customers, including Western Canada, Mexico, and South America.

TIS continues to grow in the 21st century. In July, 2006 TIS purchased KMF Research, Inc. As a result of this acquisition we now offer improved hardwood putty formulas that were originally developed by Laurence-David, Inc.. With these new formulas that are highly regarded in the industry we have expanded our product line to existing softwood plywood customers, and added a range of colored putties for hardwood plywood mills..
